A beauty among the sweet cherries is ,Justyna' with its large, heart-shaped fruits and its dark red, slightly marbled skin. And contrary to some other beauties the inner values are right - the flavor is excellent and the flesh is very firm.

GROWTH: quite strong growth with overhanging branches

BLOSSOM: medium-late, rich blossoming, on average about 2 days before ,Regina', S-Allele S1S3; pollinator with same ripening time i. e.: ,Early Korvik' (S), ,Kordia', ,Schneiders späte Knorpel'; pollinators with different ripening time i. e.: ,Carmen' (S), ,Canada Giant' ®, ,Sumgita' (S), ,Summit', ,Giorgia', ,Skeena' (S)

RIPENESS: 5th cherry week, about 16 to 18 days after ,Burlat'

APPEARANCE: beautifully heart-shaped (wider form than ,Kordia') with a long/very long stem; dark red, slightly marbled skin, very good fruit size

QUALITY: very good to good firmness, dark flesh

TASTE: very good flavour, similar to ,Kordia', with high sugar values (Brix level ≥ 25)

CROP YIELD: medium

SPECIAL NOTES: Good tolerance to splitting, depending on the weather conditions the fruits may split in some years.
